Development Overview

01. PROJECT & PLANNING - Critical Path

Design brief & sample request according to an agreed time line. Materials & trims proposal and planning deadlines. Negotiation of all working terms for samples and production.

02. SOURCING

Sourcing and purchasing of all materials like fabrics and trims from the customers nominated suppliers. Development and creation of embellishments like prints or and embroidery, all labels and swing tags, through to bags and boxes for shipping.

03. PATTERN MAKING

Following the customer design & tech pack and if possible an original sample, a pattern is developed with a CAD system.

04. SAMPLE MAKING

Ideally the sample or proto would be made using the correct materials, previously defined and agreed and according to critical path.

05. REVIEW AND APPROVAL

All proto samples to be reviewed and fitted, all alterations need to done at this point based on the customer spec or measurement chart, for easy customer approval.

06. PRODUCTION AND SHIPPING

After final approval by the customer of the final sample, the SMS (if needed) go in to production. These are then sent to customers for sales meetings and raising of the final bulk orders. All SMS are checked for QC purpose as these should be representative of the final production, including all labels & swing tags.
